"Lorem ipsum" is simply dummy or place holder text used by the printing and typesetting industry. It has been the industry's standard dummy text for over 500 years. It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using "lorem ipsum" is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using "Content goes here. " etc, making it look like readable text. While about 500 words will fill a normal A4 page there is no limit, other than your system capacity, to the actual amount of words it will generate.
